The Doane Owl is the student newspaper of Doane University and is the oldest continuous University newspaper in Nebraska.
The weekly paper is published on Thursdays by students and distributed to the Doane community. Any Doane student, regardless of major, is welcomed to join the newspaper staff. Paid positions are available and students may receive academic credit for the work. Opportunities include: news and sports reporting, feature writing, editorial or commentary writing, editing, designing pages, selling and designing advertisements, business management, photography, production, graphic design, and digital imaging.
